Point Washington Made The Local News

Point Washington, its quiet,  and its where the locals live.  I have friends, who own businesses and work on 30A every day, that have expressed their love of Point Washington by stating that as soon as they cross 98 to head home- they exhale a big sigh of relief to enter into the sanctuary that is Point Washington.  BUT, keep in mind they exhale, not inhale.  If you cross Hwy 98 on 395 North you quickly realize why we don't inhale.  Regional Utilities lift station is situated there and the smell is much less than pleasant.  Last week someone, I can only assume another Pt Washington resident, put up a very official looking sign that had residents either laughing or being offended, cause you know some people just like to be offended anyway.  It has sense been removed but caused enough attention that it made WMBB news this week and oddly enough, it seems to be MUCH less stinky this week.......  Hats off to whoever used a bit of humor to stir enough controversy to neutralize the issue!!!
